The Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, hosted a Constitution Day luncheon Sept. 16.
Agua Fria Chapter Regent Twila Lobitz hosted the program and a bell ringing to celebrate and honor the U.S. Constitution was led by Agua Fria Chapter Daughter Mary Hart and Honorary Chapter Regent Shirley Staggs.
The luncheon served more than 100 Arizona Society DAR members, Sons of the American Revolution members, the youngest Children of the American Revolution member and guests.
Revolutionary War patriot stories were shared by ASDAR Regent Sallie Lovorn, ASDAR Vice Regent Sarah Ziker, ASDAR Constitution Week Committee Chair Barbara O’Keeffe, former AZSAR President, AZSAR Secretary, AZSAR Trustee and member of the Palo Verde SAR Chapter Dr. William Lee Baran, Estrella DAR Chapter Vice Regent Laura Linton, Estrella DAR Chapter Registrar Deb Rauch and Estrella DAR Chapter Daughter and former Registrar Jennie Burrill.
