Dahle: Residents give assistance at accident scene

Posted

We moved to Sun City West almost a year ago and we have found the people to be kind, generous and overall delightful.

Yesterday (June 4) reinforced that tenfold.

I had accidently hit a post with my jeep in the Sun City RV storage lot. We had just come home from the north and were putting our motor home away. My husband had removed all of his tools and left them home. We couldn’t move the jeep. A gentleman in a white truck came and helped my husband. He offered to take his generator off his truck, drive home and get a saw and return to help us!

This was above and beyond. When he was leaving, he asked another gentleman, who had some tools, if he could help. He let us use his saw to cut the post. This again was amazing.

I was so distraught with having the accident that I did not get their names or even relay just how thankful I was for their help. So, from the lady in the orange jeep, thank you to the two gentlemen for all their help. They are the epitome of what I have found in all of the Sun Cities people — kind, generous and delightful.
