Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More member Bobbi Patterson taught fellow card making enthusiasts how to make an enticing three-dimensional greeting card styled like a workbench.
The dimensional card resembles the type of basic workbench one would find in a garage or craft room; the card itself opens outward and features a flat section on which “tools” may be displayed and a front panel that may decorated with a sentiment or greeting. Remarkably, the card folds flat for mailing.
SPAM members who participated in the class individualized their cards. One member chose a gardening theme and decorated the backboard and bench top with die cut images of seed packets, flower pots and shiny garden tools die cut from metallic paper. Another created a beauty salon setting complete with curling irons, mirror and blow dryer.
