Gene Abel, Marilyn Abel, Karen Devers and Dena Payne were among those enjoying a meal at the Washington State Club of Sun City West’s annual crab feed. Dungeness crab was flown in from the Pacific Northwest and side dishes were provided by Personal Touch.

After dinner there were nine winners of the silent auction baskets: Ivar’s Seafood, Northwest Coffee, Seattle Seahawks, Chelan Valley Wine, Mariners Spring Training, Day at the Beach, Italian Date night and SCW Golf.

Sponsors included Florencia Pizza, Hole ‘n One Restaurant, Babbo’s, Ivar’s Seafood, Briarwood Country Club, Golf 4 Less and Cody’s Mobile Golf Cart Service. Dallas Dan played to the crowd with line dancing being the most popular music of the night. Miwa Morita led line dancers.

Tables were decorated in red gingham, a slab of wood and Crab table numbers. Costco designed the cake with a Crazy Crab. The club next hosts a picnic with mini golf/bocce ball scheduled for April 11. Membership and event registration forms are at washstclub-scw.com. Membership is $10 for residents of Sun City West, Sun City Grand, Sun City and Corta Bella.
