Connie was born March 4, 1930 to Mike and Alice (Thompson) Mitchell near White Lake, South Dakota. She married Daryl Irmer in 1953 and Daryl died in June 2018. Connie is survived by: three children, Cynthia Irmer (Bruce Engelbert) of Carlsbad, CA, Jeanne Stutzman (Rob Desbien) of Fayetteville, AR, and Douglas Irmer (Carol) of Avon, IN; three grandchildren, Rozlyn Hoesing (Brian) of Lincoln, NE, Mitchell Irmer (Minte), of Seaford, VA, and Holly James (John) of Getzville, NY; and seven greatgrandchildren, Brodie, Landry, and Kemper Hoesing of Lincoln, and Eli, Theodore, Felix and Henry Irmer of Seaford, VA. Connie graduated from Hill City High, St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Lewistown, MT, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She worked as a nurse and later taught Practical Nursing for Southeast Community College, Lincoln, NE before retiring. She and Daryl retired to Sun City West, AZ where they were active members of Crown of Life Lutheran Church. She loved painting porcelain and gardening. She traveled to 7 continents and around the world. In April 2019 she moved to Fayetteville, AR to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Now she is with her Lord forever.
