Church celebrates pastor after dinner

Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., is hosting a retirement celebration for Pastor Ross Parrott, honoring his 24 years of Lakeview ministry.

The party/”roast” will follow the Thursday Night Together dinner around 6 p.m. April 13 in Smoot Hall. All previous and present members of Lakeview, including community and business individuals, are welcome to participate in the festivities.

If interested in dinner before the celebration, the menu is prime rib, baked potatoes, vegetable medley, salad bar, dessert and beverages (iced water, lemonade, iced tea, coffee). Dinner reservations are due by Monday, April 10. The meal is $7 per person.
