The 80-member Westernaires Chorus is rehearsing for their upcoming spring concert, “Hope Sails On,” a performance blending sea shanties and sailor songs with heartfelt pieces that can inspire adventure and optimism. Songs will include “What Shall We Do with a Drunken Sailor” and “My Lighthouse.” Performance dates and times are 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, Saturday, April 5, and Monday, April 7, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6. There will also be interviews on local radio station KSCE 103.1 with chorus director Kaitlyn Hudson and club president Benita Howe. Broadcasts are 2-3 p.m. Feb. 26 and 9-10 a.m. March 1.
