Classes introduce a variety of techniques including greenware carving, translucent painting, mother of pearl, appliqué, chalking, mosaics, hand-building, yarn art, dry brushing, shaving cream, bubbles, crackle, among many others. Residents can take part in social events and tours are available from 8 a.m. to noon Monday to Saturday, as well as most afternoons from noon to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The club meets in the business offices at R.H. Johnson, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd. Call 623-546-0975 to set up a tour.

Annual membership is $20, payable by check. The Tool Kit ranges between $17 and $20. Greenware, bisque, glaze and paints are available for purchase at the club. Introduction projects are prepared and organized by the teachers for each class. The cost is $65 for these supplies and a name badge, along with the donation for the teachers.
