Carey: Medians are embarrassment for visitors

Posted

The medians as Sun City West is entered from Grand Avenue is embarrassing to me when friends come to visit.

Dead or dilapidated cacti, trash, bushes that held blossoms for a few weeks in the early spring and are now long past their prime need to be removed and  seasonal flowers or blooming bushes need to greet guests and residents. The entrance on Grand Avenue at Meeker Boulevard is acceptable but the entrance at Bell Road is the only one that seems to be kept with blooming flowers and plants.

Come on, Sun City West, we can look as good as the entrances to Sun City Grand if you just try!
