Benevilla is celebrating its 40th anniversary by hosting a golf tournament fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 13 at the  Wigwam Gold Golf Course, 451 N. Old Litchfield Road.

The tournament, a four-person scramble, is $175 per player, $700 per foursome or $1,000 to be a 40th anniversary foursome sponsor, which includes tournament recognition. All players receive breakfast, lunch and a swag bag with a limited edition Benevilla 40th anniversary cap.

Registration and a “Grab n’ Go” breakfast start at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The fun in the fundraiser can be found in the numerous tournament player activities including top score prizes, a hole-in-one contest with a chance to split a $10,000 cash prize with Benevilla, closest to the pin contests and raffles.

Proceeds from this event support the many programs Benevilla, a West Valley nonprofit organization, provides, including extensive support services for older adults, adults with disabilities, children and the families who care for them since 1981. This year, Benevilla is celebrating 40 years of serving others through life enriching programs and services, day programs for adults with dementia and other disabilities, free grocery shopping services, transportation to medical appointments, caregiver support groups and other community services.

There are still spots for teams or individual golfers available and reservations are being accepted through Nov. 5.

For information on the Benevilla golf tournament or to register by phone, contact the Benevilla Donor Relations team at 623-584-4999 or visit benevilla.org/golf.
