The Bowling Association of Sun City West hosts its 2023 hall of fame dinner 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive.

Honorees for meritorious service are Judy Horvick and Goldene Butler and the honoree for proficiency is Paul Horvick.

Horvick was selected for her exemplary service on the board for duties of membership and publicity chair. During her tenure she significantly increased club membership due to her efforts, created multiple flyers, took pictures of members enjoying themselves and posted various news articles.

Butler was selected for her volunteering efforts to assist the club during events whenever needed. She is continuously available to hand out tickets for the bowling ball raffle, payouts, giving dollar bills for Red Pin night, etc.

Horvick was a member of the PBA, a monthly columnist for “Bowling This Month” magazine and founder of the Future Champions Scholarship Awards through the magazine. He has had multiple 300 games and 800 series and has been a board member of the BASCW the past six years,
