Band plays driveway show, supports food bank
Posted
The band FlashDrive performed its 15th driveway concert May 12 in Sun City West, once again in support of the Valley View Community Food Bank.
The crowd sang along to favorite pop tunes and had fun celebrating National Limerick Day.
Thanks to donations from the neighbors and friends in attendance, the band presented a check for $1,000 to the Food Bank to help fight food insecurity in the West Valley.
FlashDrive musicians include Donna and Aaron Bytwork, Clark and Ellie Chaffee, Tony Miller and trumpeter Dan Reed.
FlashDrive’s next concert will be 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 3, at 13751 W. Via Montoya. The theme will be “Road Trip USA” and will feature music associated with cities and states throughout the country.
