An evening of live music and dinner is planned for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Desert Garden United Church of Christ, 18818 N. 128th Ave. Dinner will be smoked ham, cheesy hash browns, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and coffee. It is BYOB for any other beverage. After-dinner entertainment will be provided by Sony & Jerry Holland from California’s Bay Area. They perform a mix of jazz standards, Bossa Nova, folk, acoustic covers and original material. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the church at 623-584-1795; reservation deadline is 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23.
