The Automotive/Restoration Club of Sun City West held their September membership meeting Sept. 19 at the ARC building.
The ARC building was selected as the paving of the rec center administrative area is underway. ARC membership meetings are typically held in the social hall area.
More than 100 members attended a pot luck lunch prior to the general membership meeting.
“It was great to see some of the members returning from their summer away,” stated ARC Club President Tom Jones. “It gave all of us a chance to do some social catching-up.”
The September membership meeting is key, with discussions about the nominations for club board officers and the February 2024 car show. Several new members were welcomed and shared their “car story.” In addition, several upcoming events that the club participates in were presented. These events in the community allow ARC to show their support while members can show off their cars, which are needed at these events.
