ARC supports area school car show
Posted
Western Maricopa Education Center, a public school district that provides innovative Career and Technical Education programs and serves more than 37,000 students from 48 high schools, held their annual car show Feb. 4.
One of the many programs students can enroll in is automotive technology, which teaches all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
The Automotive/Restoration Club has been a supporter of this program for years, as ARC’s core values directly align with West-Mec’s mission, which is “Preparing students today for tomorrow’s careers.”
“Our club is honored to be part of such a great technical education opportunity for young people preparing them for a bright future,” stated ARC President Tom Jones.

“All the members of ARC have so great at helping us whenever we ask for anything. Their members are an inspiration to our young students helping them choose a career in automotive repair,” stated Matt Still, who headed up the car show and is an instructor at West-Mec.
