ARC gets it in gear to support local charity
Posted
The Auto Restoration Club of Sun City West recently participated with CIT Bank to provide back-to-school supplies to Eve’s Place.
Eve’s Place provides assistance for victims of domestic, sexual and teen dating abuse. The supplies requested this year included pencils, notebooks, folders, etc. In addition, a variety of personal hygiene items, along with gift cards to grocery stores and gas stations, were also needed.
The ARC membership put the “pedal to the metal” for this cause and delivered the donations July 26 to CIT Bank. ARC club members Tom Jones, Joel Piaskowski and Vice President Dave Meyer delivered and unloaded the many bags and boxes.
“I can’t say a big enough thank you to ARC,” stated Lisa Gill, Vice President of CIT Bank. “Your members are the best.”
