Fun for the entire family

Asian and Cajun flavors
We built this place off of the boils. They are crazy good. You rip the bag open and dump on the table and pig out. Primal style of eating, messy and fun.”

NORTHWEST VALLEY residents have a new dining option that is sure to leave their mouths watering for more with the arrival of Angry Crab Shack.
“We built this place off of the boils,” said Josh Arnold, co-franchisee of the Surprise location with Matthew Prentice. “They are crazy good. You rip the bag open and dump on the table and pig out. Primal style of eating, messy and fun.”
The restaurant provides bibs, wet napkins and wash stations for thorough clean up.
“It’s a laid back, relaxed atmosphere and a fun place to dine,” Mr. Arnold said with a smile. “It’s eating with attitude.”
Diners can leave their marks on the wood-boarded walls, and if their lucky, on some nights they may see a live lobster visit their table.
The Surprise location can host up to 234 patrons, and the wait time on weekends is roughly a half an hour. “It’s a great place to bring kids. They can meet Bruce, the shark,” Mr. Arnold added.
A full bar is on the premises with 15 draft beers and draft wine. People can also host a private party with up to 35 people.
History:
Locally owned and operated, Angry Crab Shack was founded in 2013 by Ron Lou with the headquarters in Mesa, Arizona. It is not the traditional crab in a bag boil, but rather a hands-on dining experience. Angry Crab Shack has ten locations in Arizona.
Mr. Prentice and Mr. Arnold started employment at Angry Crab Shack in 2015 as servers and eventually worked their way up to franchise owners. Together, they are owners of the Angry Crab Shack in Tucson and most recently in Surprise, which opened in December 2019, according to a press release.
