Anderson: Coyotes trying to continue in habitat

Posted 6/16/21

I just finished reading the article about the coyotes (“Coyotes infiltrating neighborhood,” Sun City Independent, May 26, 2021). I am wondering if as humans we will ever be able to coexist with anything.

Anderson: Coyotes trying to continue in habitat

I just finished reading the article about the coyotes (“Coyotes infiltrating neighborhood,” Sun City Independent, May 26, 2021). I am wondering if as humans we will ever be able to coexist with anything.

Things were said about what the coyotes might do. The coyotes haven’t done anything except try to live on land that was once theirs. The man’s wife was in fear when the coyote backed up. Make a loud noise, clap your hands. The coyote did not hurt you. They are raising young right now and are protective. Give them a wide space and pay attention to your surroundings.

Don’t blame them for what they might do, they aren’t doing it. Shame on you if any of you spray them with water and ammonia. What if it gets in their eyes? Something is wrong when people are always up to be hurting one of God’s creatures. Please think twice before you act.
