Abrami: Reader suggests Sun City West for vacation

Right here in Sun City West! there are four recreation centers with indoor and outdoor pools; golf courses galore; tennis, squash, lawn bowls, 10-pin bowling, plus the rest.

And more clubs than there are days and nights in the week. Entertainment, places to be social, movies, easy access to restaurants. Wonderful library offering activities as well as books, DVDs and puzzles.

Ability to continue my volunteer work in the community. All my friends; not having to pack and bother with airports and airplanes; use of my car. Oh, and little traffic because the winter visitors have flown away.

I admit you have to work around the heat, but apart from that what’s not to like?
