Youngtown post office back in business

Water damage repaired

Posted

Youngtown residents can now go back to the usual location for U.S. Postal Service business.

The Youngtown Post Office, 11129 W. Arizona Ave., was heavily water damaged in September 2019 and had to be closed. Postal Service officials opened a temporary location, 12030 N. Clubhouse Square, that has been in use since that time. The post office in the former location reopened Feb. 22.

“The Postal Service is thrilled to reopen the Youngtown Post Office and once again provide excellent customer service to our community via this facility,” said Rita Patterson, officer in charge. “We appreciate our customers’ patience during the renovation process and also apologize for any inconvenience they may have experienced during that time.”

The Youngtown Post Office is open 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturdays.
