Wrightway continues ‘Pharmacy Beyond Walls’

Church of the Palms get service

Posted

Ken Patel, Rightway Pharmacy, 14806 N. Del Webb Blvd., owner, continues to provide COVID vaccines/boosters outside his pharmacy walls.

His first foray was to open his parking lot early in 2021 for drive-through vaccines to area residents. He provided this option four Saturdays to many having difficulty traversing the official Arizona state site to make appointments for the vaccine.

When booster vaccines became available he went to at least one local church to offer the vaccine, the Church of the Palms, 14808 N. Boswell Blvd. He recently returned to that church offering the second booster or first booster for those who came following the April 24 worship service.

Patel’s pharmacy beyond walls continued as he donated hundreds of KN95 masks when they were hard to find. The Church of the Palms presented Patel and Rightway Pharmacy a letter of appreciation signed by the church executive board members and a framed Certificate of Community Service award.
