Virus precautions cancel Sun City Women’s Chorus concert

Out of concern for the COVID-19 virus, the Sun City Women’s Chorus will cancel its spring concert “Showtime!” originally scheduled for March 29 at Sundial Recreation Center Auditorium.
“We regret this decision but feel it is in the best interest of all persons involved,” the Chorus stated in a news release. “We want to assure our devoted audience members that all tickets you purchased will be honored at our Holiday Concert to be held in December. We look forward to seeing you then.”
The Sun City Women’s Chorus was chartered nearly 60 years ago and originally performed jointly with the Sun City Male Chorus. The Women’s Chorus is open to women with a current RCSC card who love to sing four-part harmony and can read music.
The Chorus will resume its rehearsal schedule Sept. 3.
