As they have each year, members of the Sun City Ukulele Club performed at the Sun City Arts and Crafts Festival on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The audience represents many ages; some are visiting relatives, some come annually for the craft show from outside Sun City and many are Sun City residents.
This year, the club performed 13 songs that ranged from the Arizona State song, rock and pop, songs that required kazoos and one with a hula dancer and bubble blowers. The yearly performances always focus on fun for the audience, encouraging them to sing along and, when so moved, to get up and dance.
The Sun City Ukulele Club meets every Thursday at the Fairway Recreation Center. It offers free lessons to RCSC card holders who become members.
