Trumpeter Dr. Jesse McGuire will provide special music for the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, May 18, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 16000 N. Del Webb Blvd.
McGuire has been playing trumpet since age 9, winning numerous national awards, performing at Carnegie Hall, playing with Wynton Marsalis in the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and performing his rendition of the National Anthem at the 2001 World Series when the Arizona Diamondbacks won.
With his background in gospel music and jazz, McGuire has played with many musical celebrities as well as for three U.S. presidents. He has toured the world with concerts in Europe, Asia and South America.
McGuire also holds bachelor of theology, master of divinity and doctor of ministry degrees from Freedom Bible College and Seminary and is the founder and president of PowerTrump, Inc, where his Christian CDs and patriotic music can be found.
