Sydney Roy Hall

April 20, 1930 –December 18, 2020

Posted

Sid went home to be with his Lord and Savior December 18, 2020 following his battle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was born in Libby, Montana to Sydney Victor Hall and Amla Hall, the 9th of 10 children. He was always proud to be the first college graduate in his family.
He is survived by wife Jackie Hall and two sons, Craig and Terry (Connie) 9 grandchildren and 7 ½ great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His family moved numerous times as a child to follow his father’s work in the construction field. While living in Montana, he married Helen Scheele; they had 3 boys, Craig, John and Terry. They moved to the Tri Cities area in WA for many years where Sid began his career with Northern Pacific/Burlington Northern Railroad. That job took them to many locations, as they moved frequently throughout his career. He served in the Army National Guard for 21 years, retiring with the rank of Major.
Upon retiring Sid and Helen moved to Henderson, NV and finally settling in Sun City in 1999. Sid enjoyed golfing and helping friends in Sun City. Helen died in 2010 after 60 years of marriage.
The Lord blessed Sid with his marriage to Jackie in September 2014. Jackie’s devotion and care during the last four years that Sid had Parkinson’s is a testament for their love to each other and for the Lord.
Sid was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. His smile, sense of humor and love will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
There will be a service for our family and friends to be announced at a later date.
