Posted

The Surprise Pops Band will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 7 at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive.

The concert, “As Time Goes By,” will feature a flourish, medleys from Tijuana Brass, Paul Simon, Neil Diamond, the Lion King and more.

There will also be a vocal performance by Dale Gleason and Ellie Chaffee will be the narrator. The group’s conductor is Clark Chaffee.

This is a free community event and those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Valley View Community Food Bank. Jesse Ramirez, the manager of the food bank, will perform with the group.

This will be the final concert until Sept. 3 when Dan Reed will open the church’s fall concert series.
