Executive Chef, Charles Mackin is the recipient of the Premier 2021 Illuminating Excellence award for an independent living community,

This prestigious, national award acknowledges Mackin as an outstanding food service leader. A nationwide nomination process was reviewed by a committee that determined his accomplishments were unsurpassed.

After 17 years working at Wooddale Village, the record on file with Maricopa County Health Department shows zero violations on inspections. Wooddale Village officials believe it is fortunate to have a nutrition leader who makes a difference in the health of their residents.
