Sun City West Rotary welcomes Hal Black

Posted

The Sun City West Rotary, with members in Sun City West as well as Sun City, began their new Rotary year July 10, meeting for a provocative presentation by Hal Black.

Introduced by Joanne Thompson, Benevilla president/CEO of and Rotary member, Mr. Black shared his research and knowledge of near-death experiences.

The presentation described various firsthand involvements and different aspects of near-death experiences (NDE). These occurrences may include: intense emotions, seeing brilliant undulating light, having out of body experiences, a sensation of altered time and life reviews similar to seeing a motion picture. An audible voice telling a person to “go back,” seeing deceased family members or seeing mystical creatures may also occur.

This was a program of enlightenment as various Rotary members asked questions and shared some of their experiences they had had in the past.

Editor’s note: Ms. Daughters is president elect, Rotary Club of Sun City West.
