A Sun City West Realty firm is conducting a drive to provide needed items for the elderly.

The drive is being conducted to help older residents who have become homeless.

Award Realty, 13847 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West is accepting a wide variety of gently used items to be donated to Goodwill. In turn, Goodwill officials will make a monetary contribution based on a percentage of the weight of donated ietms to the Justa Center, 1001 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix. It is an agency that helps the homeless senior citizens.

Donations in the one-day event can be dropped off 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Award Realty office. Residents who have items they cannot get to the office are encouraged to call Andrea Bartsch at 775-830-4881 and she will arrange a pickup.
