Sun City West church members install officers, note donations

The Advent Church Women at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive, welcomed their newly installed officers at a recent luncheon.

The officers are Kerry Jo Hanstein, assistant treasurer; Paulette Caraghar, president; Rachel Moore, treasurer; Andy Hersey and Sharon Thomas, vice presidents; Rev. Dr. Janet Gooltz, installing official; and Jayne Smith and Phyllis Yingling, secretaries.

The treasurer announced that more than $10,000 was distributed to the group’s inreach and outreach charities. Some of the recipient groups were Valley View Food Bank, Dysart Community Center, 4 Paws Rescue, Salvation Army and Eve’s Place.
