Sun City Ukulele Club touts growth in skills for all levels

This season’s mentorship program is winding down for the Sun City Ukulele Club, with only one session remaining 1:30 p.m. March 20 at the Fairway Center music room. This program is for all levels, even those who are coming for the first time.

There is an afternoon workshop for all skill levels with ukulele player and teacher Peter Luongo April 3 and a concert 4 p.m. with his 13-member group, the Legacy Ukulele Ensemble (visit youtube.com/watch?v=PRnCSgHGPAs).

Club member Devra Johnson will also be teaching a workshop for all levels on pentatonic scales 1:30 p.m. the following Thursday, April 10, in the Fairway Center music room.

The Sun City Ukulele Club meets 3 p.m. Thursdays at the Fairway Center. It offers free lessons for all RCSC cardholders.
