A key figure in the Sun City Ukulele Club’s success is webmaster Paul Willemssen.

Willemssen designed the club’s website soon after its approval as a sanctioned club in 2011 and has been the webmaster ever since.

Unlike many websites, the Sun City Ukulele Club’s must be updated weekly. Songs that are going to be used during the Thursday jams are put up each week. Music for future performances is also posted. The education page includes lessons for the club’s mentorship program and links to hundreds of songs, the acoustic jam spin-off program and an active monthly calendar that shows jams, practice schedules, mentorship schedules and performance schedules are always up-to-date.

Visit scukes.org.

The Sun City Ukulele Club meets 3 p.m. Thursdays at the Fairway Center. Free lessons are open to all RCSC card holders.

Contact club president Trudy Bryson at 480-276-3780 or trudybryson@cox.net for more information.
