Sun City Ukulele Club presents free film screening

The resurgence of the ukulele worldwide is documented in a 2010 Canadian film “Mighty Uke,” which will be shown to all RCSC cardholders and their guests for free 3 p.m. Monday, March 3, in the Fairway Center music room.

RCSC cardholders may recognize some of the performers in the film who in the past have offered workshops for the Sun City Ukulele Club and performed concerts for Sun City residents. One of the film’s performers, Peter Luongo, with his Legacy Ensemble, will be providing workshops for the Sun City Ukulele Club members Thursday, April 3, with a concert that evening from 4 to 5 p.m., also in the in the Fairway Center music room.

The Sun City Ukulele Club meets 3 p.m. Thursdays in the Fairway Center. Free lessons are offered to all RCSC cardholders.
