The Sun Cities Sidewinder Softball Team participated in a Senior Softball-USA tournament, the 36th Rock-N-Reno Challenge Cup, May 28-30 in Reno, NV.

The Sidewinder 70s took first place in their AAA division. They were undefeated in tournament play, which also gave them an opportunity to play in January’s Tournament of Champions in Florida.

The Sidewinders league is made up of primarily Sun City, Sun City West, Sun City Festival, Sun City Grand and Pebblecreek players. Most play in the Sun City/Sun City West leagues as well.
