Sun City seabees increasing membership

The Naval Seabees Veterans of America Island X5, of Sun City, is seeking members to become more active in the community. The Island, or club, is the most active in the Phoenix area.

It meets at 8 a.m. the fourth Saturday of each month for breakfast at Royal Cafe, 10793 W. Grand Ave., Sun City.

The NSVA is a national member organization for Naval personnel who have served or are serving under honorable conditions. It offers camaraderie for Navy seabees while promoting respect for their professions, trades, crafts, and occupations during times of war and peace.

Island X5 currently has members from across Phoenix and the valley from Wickenburg to Waddell.

For more information, contact Jennifer Slane at 360-689-0866 or NSVA.X5@gmail.com.
