President Mary Zongolowicz awarded Washington High School senior Rebeca Castro Rubio a scholarship to Glendale Community College on behalf of the Sun City Rotary Foundation. Rubio’s mother, Rocio Rubio Rivera, and WHS principal Ashley Anderson attended the presentation. The Rotary Club of Sun City meets at noon on the first and third Thursdays of the month at Royal Oaks but is taking a vacation in July. Visitors are welcome.
