Sun City Rosie the Riveters install officers

Sun City Rosie the Riveters installed new officers Dec. 6. From left are JoAnn Tanzosh, treasurer, Jan Logan, secretary, Linda Lundberg, vice president, and Pam Miller, president. Rosie the Riveters members are women who stepped up during World War II and made airplanes, tanks and other equipment. Many members have passed, but these local “Rose Buds” are continuing to educate the public about what they accomplished. Anyone with a relative whose mother or father worked in the factories are called “Rose Buds” and men are “Rivets.” Call 970-227-2466 or 623-875-6970 for more information.
