Sun City Republican Club selects board, sets next meeting

The Sun City Republican Club met Nov. 19 and heard from Aaron Flannery, with the Maricopa Recorder’s Office, and Georg Khalaf, CEO of Data Orbital, both presenting an analysis of the Nov. 5 Arizona election.

The new club board was also selected: Peter Lee, vice president, Larry Batson, secretary, Jesse Thompson, treasurer, Robert Wheat, membership chair, John Matthews, president, and Bonnie Angster, program chair.

The next meeting is Jan. 21 at the Sundial Recreation Center East Hall, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. The speaker will be Lisa Atkins, board member of the Central Arizona Water Corporation Maricopa County, focusing on water and land issues. All RCSC members and their guests are welcome. The social time begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
