The Sun City Republican Club met Oct. 15, at the Sundial Recreation Center, where Jose Borrajero presented a PowerPoint on the United States immigration laws utilized in recent years and the present day.
Borrajera immigrated from Cuba as a young man in a foster program sponsored by a non-governmental program.
The Sun City Republican Club next meets Nov. 19, also at Sundial, where guest speakers will be Aaron Flannery, from the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, recapping the Maricopa County 2024 election, and George Khalaf, from Data Orbital, who will give an overview of the 2024 election and the future of Arizona based on the election results. RCSC card holders and their guests are welcome.
