The Sun City Poms marched in Phoenix’s Veterans Day parade Nov. 11, to honor the sacrifice and service of the many veterans in the Valley. Approximately 45,000 people were in attendance, cheering on the many organizations and military members who participated. The Poms performed “Grand Old Flag” to those who lined the streets.
A few days later, the Poms also surprised some Sun City veterans at their monthly coffee gathering Nov. 14. They performed their ”Military Medley” and “God Bless America” and received a standing ovation from the 70+ veterans in attendance.
