The Sundial Men’s Club recently donated $5,000 to Sunshine Service of Sun City.
Sunshine Service is a nonprofit charity that has been providing free use of medical equipment to Sun City residents for more than 60 years. Residents can borrow like-new lift chairs, hospital beds, doorway ramps, walkers, wheel chairs, knee scooters, bath benches and more. They also lend family and children equipment, such as roll-away beds, cribs and strollers if a Sun City resident has visiting family.
There is no payment required, no qualifying (other than one must live in Sun City), no questions asked and no time limitations.
Jim Sinclair, executive director, stated they have served approximately 16,000 clients and saved residents more than two million dollars last year alone.
Sunshine Service operates with sixteen employees and is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. every weekday. They also deliver and set up heavy equipment.
They have their own building and warehouse storage facility located at 9980 W. Santa Fe Drive,

The Sundial Men’s Club organizes and operates Thursday night Bingo games at the Sundial Center auditorium. It takes 50 to 60 volunteers weekly to host this game and they are all members of the club. All profits go to Sun City charities.
The Bingo game starts promptly at 6:15 p.m. and players begin arriving at 4 p.m. when the doors open. The Bingo game is operated from the first Thursday in September and continues until the last Thursday in May.
The evening of Bingo costs as little as $9 to play all the games and players could win one of two $1,000 prizes or a $500 coverall. Additionally, they play 14 more games with a prize of $100 or $150.
