The Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, began the new year by welcoming a new member. Chapter Chaplain LaVonne Rasmusson administered the NSDAR oath of membership to Gaye Bithell Smith, who was admitted Dec. 5. She joined the volunteer organization by proving she is a direct descendant of Virginia’s Revolutionary War patriot Thomas Graham, a soldier serving in the Augusta County, Virginia Colony militia.
