Residents who love to dance, want to move their feet and express themselves can join the Tip Top Dancers, a club that has been going strong for 40 years offering a space for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Tip Top Dancers offers a variety of classes: learn classic tap, jive with jazz, pirouette in ballet or belt out a song in musical theater. The club also offers ballroom dance, hula, Pilates and more. Classes are held throughout the week at the Marinette Recreation Center, with sessions running September through May. Plus, summer classes often keep the party going from June to August.  

The instructors at Tip Top Dancers are dedicated to creating a fun and supportive learning environment. They focus on quality instruction, inspiring music and energetic choreography.

Beyond the physical benefits of improved balance, flexibility and overall fitness, dancing can boost an individual’s mental and social well-being. It ca reduce stress and provides a space for creative expression.

The club’s highlight is the annual February show at the Sundial Recreation Center. This public event allows dancers to showcase their talents and celebrate the year’s learning. Throughout the year, Tip Top Dancers also participates in various community performances, further enriching the local scene. Additionally, the club hosts social events for members to connect and celebrate holidays or special occasions.  

The annual membership fee is $10 and class instruction fees are $20 per month. Classes are open to all Sun City RCSC cardholders and their guests.
