“A Little Sousa and a Lotta Sax” is the Sun City Concert Band’s annual Sousa concert, which will be performed 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, in the Sundial Auditorium, 14801 N. 103rd Ave. The concert will feature special guest saxophone soloist Rob Verdi, who performs regularly at Disneyland and other venues in the Los Angeles area. Verdi has a large collection of saxophones and will play a few of them at the concert. Trumpet soloist Dan Reed will be featured as well. The band is directed by Ken Jaeger and associate director Charles Musgrave. Tickets are $10, available when doors open at 1 p.m. Feb. 22. Call Jane Higgs at 623-910-6355 for more information.
