The Congregational Church of Sun City Women’s Fellowship team hosted a complimentary high tea open to all women in the community in honor of Mother’s Day May 8. Several volunteers from the church Men’s Club served tea, pastries and sandwiches for mothers, grandmothers and those who have been mother figures to others in the community. Music was provided by the Bravo West Strings group, led by Sharon Nauman. Plans are already in place to repeat this event next year, on May 7. The church is located at 18401 N. 99th Ave. Call 623-977-4241, email admin@ccscaz.org or visit ccscaz.org for more information.
