The Palo Verde Artists were invited to hang their artwork for the months of April and May on the back hall of Blick Art Materials, 17520 N. 75th Ave. On April 7, this group of artists, along with others, met together for a reception in the store. Blick’s manager spoke to the group about art and what made it a great picture and then named the first, second and third place winners of the show, along with people’s choices. These hangings can be viewed and purchased if for sale. The Palo Verde Artist’s room can be found at Sundial Recreation Center, 14801 N. 103 Ave. Membership in the club is $10 per year and is open to RCSC cardholders only.
