The Arizona Eye Institute and Cosmetic Laser Center officials launched a campaign in August to educate the community about aesthetic and cosmetic care, and the true value it can offer their personal lives.

Each week, a trivia question is posed and on the following Monday it is answered with a new question. Everyone who answers the trivia question each week, whether right or wrong, is entered into a drawing for valuable cosmetic prizes, from fashion sunglasses to free Botox and Obagi medical grade skin care products.

“Our goal is to remind our community that taking care of yourself on the outside has proven to truly help heal and empower on the inside as well,” said Emilio M. Justo, MD, Arizona Eye Institute founder and medical director. “We have patients who have found it easier to care for a loved one when they care for themselves, for instance.”

Others gain confidence to start something new that they have always wanted to do. Arizona Eye’s certified Aesthetic Laser Nurse Roxanne Dorty, RN, offers complimentary consultations that prove to be a counseling session where she can help patients find health and beauty results that can transform their lives, according to Justo.

“But she also maintains natural care with encouragement that each patient is special and unique,” he said.
