Sun Cities Area Historical Society hosts annual meeting in SC West

The Sun Cities Area Historical Society, operators of the Del Webb Sun Cities Museum, will hold its 2023 annual meeting 1 p.m. Jan. 24 in Sun City West.

This year’s meeting takes place in Summit Hall A at Palm Ridge Recreation Center, 13800 W. Deer Valley Drive.

The meeting will include a short business meeting followed by a brief review of the museum’s activities in 2022 and a preview of activities and events planned for 2023 – including the museum plans to expand its presence in Sun City West through a partnership with the Recreation Centers of Sun City West.

A brief program looking back at the history of the Sundome Center for Performing Arts will be presented by Don Tuffs. Mr. Tuffs is the immediate past president of the museum’s board of trustees, and once served as the general manager of the Sundome.
