A farmers market in Surprise is opening up on Sundays, starting this weekend.

Momma’s Organic Market, based in Glendale at Arrowhead Towne Center, is adding two additional Valley locations, including the Sterling Grove Market, 17193 W. Montpelier Street.

It is scheduled to launch Sept. 6 and will continue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday through May.

“This is an incredible period of growth for us, and we’re thrilled to bring our free market to two amazing neighborhoods,” owner Christa Esquibel said in a news release. “Our expansion is a testament to the fact that Arizonans want to, and will continue to, support local. It is a collaborative effort between our location hosts, dedicated vendors and loyal customers.”
