St Vincent de Paul slates fundraiser
Posted
The St Vincent de Paul mission statement is to “Feed, Clothe, House, Heal.” Phoenix is the largest council in the United States and those in the St Elizabeth Seton Sun City conference serve many people in the area with their needs of rent/mortgage, utilities, auto, clothing, food and spiritual prayer and more.
Members welcome all requests, and if they can’t assist, they will direct individuals to someone who can. To help support these efforts to assist neighbors in need, the conference will host its second annual fundraiser 3-5 p.m. Feb. 5 at 9728 W. Palmeras Drive.
There will be a chili cook off, dessert auction and baskets to auction off. The event itself is free.
